Where do you fit in?

This is an operational role sitting in Trint’s Finance team, you will be reporting to the Finance Director. You’ll be a key person in ensurancing Trint’s finance operation runs smoothly. 

Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable
    • Log invoices for payment and administrate weekly payment runs
    • Get approval for supplier invoices from budget holders
    • Attach supplier invoices to transactions in Xero
  • Credit Control
    • Chase missing receipts with sales managers
    • Chase customers who are overdue
    • Own the aged receivables report
  • Reconciliation 
    • Bank and credit card transactions
    • E-commerce transactions from Stripe & Apple 
    • Reconcile invoices to new contracts at month end
  • Expenses 
    • Process receipts paid by company credit card 
    • Prepare staff personal expenses in accordance to the expenses policy 
    • Provide access to new users for expenses software
  • Month End 
    • Prepare gifted hours report from Support
    • Chase for overages from Customer Success
    • Assist the Management Account with accounts preparation 
  • Ad Hoc
    • Stripe customer queries 
    • Assistance to the Finance Director and Management Accountant

Required skills

  • We’ll be looking for you to have a bachelor’s degree or working towards professional qualification such as an ATT. However, relevant work experience will also be considered. 
  • You must be detail oriented and meticulous in your approach to work. 
  • You must be tenacious and willing to develop and work towards an accountancy qualification. 
  • Excellent time management is essential in a fast paced high growth business.
