If you’re working in broadcast or media and based anywhere in the world – IBC is the place to be. This year it was Trint’s 4th time exhibiting and it’s always a great chance for us to demo new innovations and hear from customers what they want from a transcription and content creation tool. It’s also an opportunity to see how the industry is moving forward, both through technology and changes in the workplace. Two things that Trint is happy to shout about.
It won’t come as a surprise that AI and automation were big topics across the floor at IBC. For newsrooms and broadcasters, the question is how these tools can help streamline workflows that may traditionally be cumbersome or inefficient. People were keen to see tools that improve how teams collaborate, manage, search and edit their audio and video content – ultimately reducing manual tasks and freeing up time for more creative work.
Efficiency was another big topic within media organizations, both to help reduce unnecessary spending and help teams get more out of their day-to-day. Finding tools that can amalgamate systems into one workflow makes production and content creation faster, with less time switching between screens and devices.
The third trend is around remote production and cloud based media management, enabling companies to do more outside of the office. How connected systems can enable teams to work efficiently in a hybrid set-up, as long as they have the right security measures in place.
Being on the floor at IBC it was great to see how Trint’s innovations are right in-line with these industry trends.

Events like IBC are the perfect setting to announce new partnerships and integrations. Last year we showcased our integrations with media asset management (MAM) tools Mimir and Dina.
