The Role

‍

We're looking for an experienced IT and security professional who owns a broad and high-impact remit. As Trint’s IT & Information Security Senior Associate, this role is the driving force behind Trint's IT operations and information security. 

‍

Security is a genuine differentiator for us, our customers choose Trint in part because of the trust we've built around how we handle their data. This role is central to maintaining and advancing that reputation, both internally and externally.

‍

This is a hands-on, varied role spanning everything from day-to-day IT operations to leading the ISO 27001 certification, conducting customer security assessments and answering their data security questions, and evaluating the tools and technology that power our business.

‍

This role should hold a qualification or training in cyber security or information security management.

‍

Key Responsibilities

‍

Information Security & Compliance

• Leading the maintenance, updating and communication of all security policies and procedures across Trint
  ‍
• Being able to translate technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders
  ‍
• Ownership of the ISO 27001 certification and Cybersmart (as well as any other certifications Trint decides on in the future). This includes gathering evidence, evolving documentation, coordinating audits and working with key stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance
  ‍
• Continue to raise awareness of security policies across the business and auditing adherence to them
  ‍
• Being the lead to complete security assessments for prospective and existing customers, acting as a trusted point of contact for security-related due diligence requests and questionnaires
  ‍
• Being able then to triage to other members of the business when support is needed on security assessments and questionnaires 
  ‍
• Managing the vendor risk process, including assessing third-party tools and services against our security standards

‍

Technology & Tool Evaluation

• Reviewing and assessing current and prospective tools used across the business to determine their suitability, security posture and value
  ‍
• Reviewing and signing off new tools to be onboarded in the business 
  ‍
• Reviewing how different tools sync together and if there are any duplication in efforts across tools 
  ‍
• Identifying opportunities to consolidate, renegotiate or replace tools to deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies
  ‍
• Maintaining an up-to-date view of the technology landscape across the business and making recommendations to leadership

‍

IT Operations

• Managing all IT equipment and logistics, including onboarding setup and offboarding processes
  ‍
• Supporting employees with IT queries and equipment needs, ensuring everyone is set up for success from day one
  ‍
• Maintaining IT asset registers, software licences and access management records
  ‍
• Contributing to the development of IT processes and documentation as the business scales
  ‍
• Need to remain proactive, organised and have a sharp eye for detail
  ‍
• Strong interpersonal skills and confident engaging with colleagues and customers at all levels
  ‍
• Remain commercially minded on ensuring deals are prioritised and savings are made when identified quickly
