Video journalists from The Associated Press, the world's biggest news organization, use Trint to transcribe recorded interviews and events thanks to their Enterprise agreement with automated transcription platform Trint.
AP journalists in production centers around the world use Trint to transcribe audio and video from recorded interviews rather than doing so manually. Before using Trint, video producers were spending more than 45 minutes per day on manual transcription. Using Trint has resulted in a huge reduction in transcription time.
By merging two pieces of software ' a text editor and audio/video player ' into one, Trint glues the source audio and video to the text on the screen, making it possible to search recorded content by keywords, verify a machine-generated transcript in seconds, polish it in minutes and export it in multiple formats. With reasonably clean audio, accuracy rates can be better than 95%.
Trint is available to newsrooms of any size, from independent journalists to worldwide news organizations. Want to see how Trint can help you produce the next award-winning piece of content? Email us at hello@trint.com to find out.
